Buddhism is a spiritual tradition that focuses on personal spiritual development and the attainment of a deep insight into the true nature of life. It teaches us to take responsibility for ourselves, our actions and the consequences of our actions.

Philosophical Features of Buddhism.   

The Middle Path is the core of the Buddhist Faith that which explores all the essential teachings such as The Four Noble Truths, The Eightfold Path and Nibbana as The Ultimate Goal or Final Emancipation, The Dependant Origination, Three Universal Characteristics, Karma, Rebirth, Abhidhamma or Buddhist Metaphysics, Buddhist Psychology etc., etc.

Buddhist Sociological Perspective

Buddhist Social philosophical Theories cultivate Basic Human Values to live in harmony. The Five precepts are fundamental issues of those democratic social rules. Value of Five Precepts;

  • Refraining from killing or harming – Assure individual and Social Security – establish Peace in society
  • Refrain from taking what is not given – Respect properties and ensure prosperity
  • Refrain from Sexual Misconduct – Promote strong family relationships and Healthiness
  • Refrain from lying – Preserving social Confidentiality
  • Refrain from intoxicant Drinks – Escape from Danger, Conducive Progress.
