Cambridge University Buddhist Society hosts a special talk on Wednesday 26th October from 7.30PM till 9.30PM with a guided meditation and a discussion. The Guest Speaker is Ajahn Brahm, who is a renowned meditation teacher. We encourage everyone to attend this special and rare occasion.

This evening seminar ‘Befriending Inner Fear’ is hosted by the Cambridge University Buddhist Society, of which Ajahn Brahm was a student member in the late sixties! Held in Cambridge University’s Lady Mitchell Hall, the evening will begin with half an hour’s guided meditation, followed by a Dhamma Talk and an interactive question and answer session.

Ajahn Brahm is a well known Buddhist monk in the Thai Forest Tradition and a Cambridge graduate from the late 1960s. He is the Abbot of Bodhinyana Monastery, in Serpentine, Western Australia.
He has written several books including Opening the Door of Your Heart, Mindfulness, Bliss and Beyond: A Meditator’s Handbook, and The Art of Disappearing: Buddha’s Path to Lasting Joy.
Hundreds of Ajahn Brahm’s Dhamma talks are also available for free download. His light-hearted approach to the toughest issues in life brings laughter to the talks he gives around the world.
