We have successfully completed 8th years in our community services with outstanding excellence rewards proceeding from strength to strength. Therefore, we very kindly invite you to take part in our 8th Anniversary Celebration with offering 28 Beautiful Buddha Statues and taking part of a Meditation for universal compassion followed by protective discourses chanting on Sunday 25th March 2012 at our Buddhist Centre, 69 Pix Road Letchworth Garden City SG6 1PZ.
Celebration begins at 11AM with offering Dana to Venerable Monks headed by Most Venerable Bogoda Seelawimala Maha Nayaka Thero, chief prelate of UK and Head of London Buddhist Vihara. After sharing the lunch, we will respectfully carry beautiful 28 Buddha Statues to the ceremony venue at Brotherhood Hall (Gernon Road, Letchworth SG6 3JF). At 1PM, a special Talk on Benefits of Meditation on Qualities of Buddhas will be delivered with a guided meditation by Dr Matheesha Gunathilake. Ceremony will conclude by 2PM with the special pooja offerings for 28 Buddhas, Tribute to Parents and Protective discourses Chanting for well-being.
