For sheer artwork, colour and soothing music accompanying the visuals this production is in a class by itself. It brings to life in a very impressive way the landscape and the natural environment that Prince Siddhartha initially and later as the Buddha trod in Northern India (there was no Nepal then) known in the classical texts as ' Dambadiva'.

It is a must see video film for all those who are inspired by the life story of the Buddha and his incomparable teachings.

With lots of Metta,

May all be well, secure & happy!

I listened to this and when it stopped I felt like I kinda miss the feeling in my ears and need to listen to this again. I'm listening for the 2nd time now, and I feel like I don't want anything but listening to this. It's a weird feeling, my mind got used to it and just needs to hear it.

It is irritating to scroll down the comments section and among all the beautiful comments find Nepali nationalism saying he was born in Nepal, just so that they can claim the Buddha.  So let me set the record straight. Sure, he was born on the Nepal side of the Indo-Nepal border. Granted. However, from the rest of his life, we can see what part of the subcontinent he associated with. When he left his family, did he go to Kathmandu or did he travel to mainland India to learn? As this video shows, he spent all his life becoming the Buddha in what is today India. He studied in India, taught in India, became the Buddha in India and died in India. All his disciples were Indians, all his followers were Indians and indeed he himself was too since there was no border then. Which is why it is said that India is the land of the Buddha.  There was no Nepal then and no "India" either so the truth is that the Buddha belonged to the world.

?Hard is it to be born as a man,

Hard is the life of mortals,

Hard is it to hear the Truth Sublime,

Hard as well is the Buddha"s rise.

It's a beautiful day! Blessings to eeryone! Cats love this! One of my cats was grumpy this morning. I decided to play this to him, and he just loved it! He perked up, listened intently, then relaxed, meditated, and finally curled up for a long catnap.  Om Mani Pad Me Hum
